In 2025, our founders left AI At Work conference with 100+ business cards and a sinking feeling — most of those conversations were gone forever. The follow-up never happened. The leads evaporated. The relationships never materialized.

We started Contexion to fix that specific problem. Not with another CRM. Not with a contact scanner app. With a platform that captures context the moment a connection is made and turns it into intelligent, automated action.

Today, Contexion powers relationship-driven workflows for sales professionals, founders, and recruiters across the globe. We're just getting started.

November 2025

The idea

The idea for Contexion started after our founders left AI At Work with 200+ business cards and no efficient way to nurture those connections. In a hotel lobby that evening, they began designing a platform to turn connections into lasting relationships.

February 2026

First prototype

The first working demo of Contexion was shared at a eXplore ISE '26. 40 people asked for early access on the spot.

May 2026

Public beta launch

Launched publicly at Web Summit Vancouver and gained 500 users in the first two days, validating strong market interest and demand.
